On 23rd March 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung and Clark Theological College, Aolijen Mokokchung for an Inter- Library Book Loan Initiative between the two institutions. The agreement was inked by Dr. I Wati Imchen, Principal, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung and Rev. Dr. A. Temjen Jamir, Principal, Clark Theological College, Aolijen, Mokokchung. It was done in the presence of Mr. Vinod Kumar, Vice-Principal (FAC), Ms. Bendangsenla, IQAC Coordinator (FAC), the librarians from both the institutions along with the library committee members (FAC).
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mesutoba, Convenor, Library committee, FAC. Short speeches were delivered by the Principals from both the institutions emphasizing on the scope of sharing knowledge and resources between the two institutions. Some highlights of the facilities were given by Dr. Lendina, Librarian, FAC and Mr. Jason D A, Librarian, CTC. It was acknowledged that the collective strength of the library holdings in both the institutions can be strategically leveraged to overcome individual limitations in specialized or interdisciplinary resources.
This mutual partnership was done based on recognizing the shared mission for advancing higher education, research, and scholarly collaborations. This MoU between the two institutions is rooted in the spirit of academic cooperation, intellectual enrichment, and the efficient use of library resources for the benefit of faculty, researchers, and students from both the institutions.
The proposed framework will ensure that books and other materials from either institution may be accessed through a structured, secure, and mutually respectful system, fostering an academic environment characterized by openness, resource sharing, and inter-institutional goodwill.
