Student enrichment programmes organized by the department:
- Honours students either during 5^th or 6^th semester is usually taken out to important historical places as part of their project in lieu of one internal assessment.
- We also practice Task-Based Learning and follow the Communicative Language Teaching method.
- This year the department is planning to take out 6^th semester honours students to Chungliyimti.
- The Department undertakes SWOT analysis annually.
Innovative teaching methods used by the department:
Use of IT facilities, sharing of study materials to the honours students through print/email/WhatsApp etc
