Best practice of the department :

A department library is maintained from which books are made available to the students. Currently there are 43 books in the department.
From 2019 onwards, the department has initiated an inter-departmental seminar, in which the students from different departments are given the opportunity to make paper presentations.

Distinction achieved by honours students:

Akumsenla (B.A. 6^th Semester, Economics Honours, 6.02 CGPA) received the “Late Dr. Longrizung Award for Academic Excellence, 2018”

Other activity:

The first interdepartmental seminar was conducted on 13^thAugust, 2019 along with the dept. of Pol. Science where 4 students presented on different topics.
