  • Transparency: The department makes conscious effort to maintain transparency in internal assessments, evaluation of students’ performance.
  • Empathy: Identifying and understanding weaker students in each class, giving individual guidance and offers free remedial classes.
  • Student-Feedback Mechanism: The department conducts timely evaluation of teachers’ performances by students and the problems they encounter.
  • Encourage self-expression of students and emphasis on maximum involvement of students in the teaching-learning process.
  • The entire faculty team shares paper in all the six semesters

Other activity (Extension services)

  • The Department Organised a One Day Workshop on “Current Trends in Teaching Learning Process” at Christian Standard Higher Secondary School, Changtongya Town.All the Teachers from the Department participated as Resource persons on different topics in the Workshop.
  • The Department has helped frame 3(Three) CBCS syllabus viz-Life Skill Education, Communication Skills and Gender & Education, for Nagaland university.
  • Board member of a peer reviewed national educational journal, ‘Edu-Explorer’ w.e.f 2013 till date
