Fazl Ali College on the 8th of July, 2026 organised an Orientation Programme for the First Semester students of BA/B.Com/B.Sc at the college auditorium. The programme was conducted to facilitate the newly admitted students to have a holistic idea of the academic values and environment of the college. The Vice Principle L.S.Vinod gave the welcome address extending a heartfelt congratulations welcome to the students for being admitted to the college and gave a brief highlight of the academic course under FYUGP. The college has been giving a concession of fifty percent of admission fee to the meritorious students each year and even this year ten students were selected, five from Arts, three from Science and two from Commerce stream. The Vice Principle on the event gave away the refunded amount to the selected students.
An overview of the college was presented by Maongienla, Asst. Professor, Dept. of English highlighting on the infrastructure, the facilities available for different streams, extra-curricular activities, services and benefits the college provides and also stressed on the importance of the code of conduct for the students. The programme was chaired by Sashikokla Jamir, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Geography with a special prayer delivered by Nungshitemjen Longkumer, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Sociology for the newly admitted students. The
