Department of Political Science, Fazl Ali College organised a Pep Talk for the First Semester Political Science Core students in hybrid mode, both online and offline, under the theme ‘Inspire, Motivate, Achieve’ on 23rd July at the college conference hall. Three Guest Speakers were invited for the programme, Shri Shoukanth Azeem (IAS), AGMUT Cadre, Mr Imnawapang, Language Faculty, LBSNAA and Miss Ngeplong Wanghsa. Shri Shoukanth Azeem encouraged the students to be as resilient as the Naga ancestors and to work hard in this competitive world of AI.
He advised the students to plan ahead, develop healthy hobbies and choose friends and mentors wisely. Mr. Imnawapang, an alumni of the college, spoke on the need to be passionate and to be committed to achieving one’s goal beyond academics. Miss Ngeplong Wanghsa, the top scorer of the department from the college encouraged the students to be consistent, to form lasting friendships and to be participative. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr Lipokrenla Jamir, Assoc. Professor & Head of Department.
